Norman Mechanical Steve O’Byrne Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to aid someone in the NMI community in furthering their education.

Scholarship Details

In 2022, the Norman Mechanical family tragically lost one of our valued team members. In its second year, Norman Mechanical is continuing to offer the Steve O’Byrne Memorial Scholarship. Steve O’Byrne meant a great deal to many people at Norman Mechanical and we would like to ensure his legacy lives on.

The purpose of this scholarship is to aid someone in the NMI community in furthering their education. Therefore, this scholarship does NOT have to used for a college or university. It may be used for community college, vocational school, or another program that furthers one’s education. NMI will select one (1) person to receive this scholarship.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Applicant must be a child, grandchild, or care-receiver of a current NMI employee
    • NMI employee must have been working for NMI since 6/1/2022
  • Applicant may also have a connection to any of our suppliers, subcontractors, or individuals that have donated to Thunder Cares for the life of the Scholarship Program (2 years).
  • Applicant must be between 17 and 25 years old

Deadline

All applications need to be submitted via email by 10/31/23.  Email copies should be sent to gcollins@normanmechanical.net
